The Logans departed from sweet home Alabama at 5:45 this morning landing in Chicago somewhere around 7:30. We all passed the 50lb luggage test. My bag was 47lbs while Sarah Hayden barely made with a 48.5-49 pound suitcase. Our plane was running a little early so the Logans werethe last ones to board the plane- thankfully we didnt have to wait long at all for take off. The plane ride was gorgeous! We got to watch the sunrise...which i dont see very much because of how late i sleep.Everyone survived the plane ride...Sarah Hayden felt a little sick but that could be due to her reading on the plane. Since 4 am isn't the ideal breakfast time, we stopped for brunch at the glamorous and fabulous airport Chillis. We munched on everything from breakfast tacos to pancakes very similar to the ones served at McDonalds. Our plane to Montana leaves at 9:45 so right now we are just sitting in the terminal...as I type this blog entry on the iPad. We went and toured the airport including all the little over priced shops it has to offer. We visited the sunglasses hut where my dad tried on many sunglasses that are obviously directed to a younger age-Sarah Hayden was mortified. We also visited a brookstone and a convent store (i bought a neck pillow for the next plane ride). Hope y'all enjoy the few pictures that I have posted in this entry! Hopefully, I get to blog again tonight about our arrival in Montana!
Love,
Douglas
