Since we had to get up so early the day before, our parents let us sleep in yesterday! When we woke up we got dressed and headed to the third floor where we had breakfast at Cafe Tera. I didn't have enough for breakfast so I was stuck with a huge headache that morning. Yesterday was sort of our lazy day. We walked around the little shops and all got really cool/cute t-shirts from different shops! After doing a little t-shirt shopping we went to ride the arieal tram. This tram took us to the "Top of the World" in about 10-12 minutes. It was so cool. The tram could fit about one hundred people during snow season but because no one was skiing they put in a few benches for people to sit on. The veiw was incredible. We could see paragliders going off the mountains. (Sarah Hayden wants to paraglide, but I think my mom might have a heart attack). When we got to the top it was about ten degrees colder than when we were at the bottom of the mountain. The mountain was incredibly steep! We walked around up top but it was a little too cold for us in shorts to be up there for too long. After we got back down from the mountain, we went to eat lunch at the Mangy Moose. That afternoon we left around 1:30 to go to on our dinner float. Once we got to the shop, we were put on a bus where Josh (the manager) drove us to a private ranch where we would get into the river with our floats. Our guides name was Andrew, he did all the paddling so all we had to do was relax and enjoy the veiw and ride! On the ride we saw an elk, geese, about 10 bald eagles, baby ducklings, and a MOOSE! The moose was just walking through the river! It was very cool. Once we got to the campsite, dinner was all set up for us and we were all very hungry. We had a very tasty brisket, beans, salad, and bread. For desert we had strawberry shortcake which was very good! On the way back in the bus, we saw a man who was on a bike down in the road. Our driver called the ambulance, the many got up after a while but he couldn't remember one single thing. Thankfully, the company who we were with had a suburban following our bus that could drive him and meet up with the ambulance to get him to the hospital faster. Once we got back to our cars we made a quick stop at McDonalds and got a little ice cream treat. When we were back at our hotel Sarah Hayden and I worked out then joined Vann and Maggie in the very heated pool. It was a very fun night! We are leaving now to go on a little hike! Ill post when we get back! Its our last day out west and we are all sad about it!

Living On The Edge
Some people say they live on the edge...well yesterday the Logan family really was living on the EDGE. We went rock climbing with Exum Guides in the Teton Nationl Park. We had to get up very early to get breakfast, pick up our lunches, and be at Jenny Lake by 8:45. We ate breakfast at a place called the Bunnery. We have never been the first ones at a restaurant before they have opened, but yesterday we were! After we ate our yummy breakfast and got our sack lunches we headed to the rock climbing building. We rode a boat across Jenny Lake with our guides Wes and Mike. When we arrived on the other side of the lake we hiked about one mile to where we would do some practice climbing. We did these little practices to learn skills for climbing. We hiked a little bit further to where we would actually climb. Once we got there and were all harnessed up we split into two teams. Dad, Vann, and I were with Mike while Mom, Sarah Hayden, and Maggie were with Wes. We were all tied together as we climbed but had to take turns. I have to say some of the climbs were difficult and a little scary. But it was sooooo much fun! We had about four different climbs to complete before reaching the top, and after each one we felt more accomplished than before. We got to the top where we had lunch sort of in a cave like setting. Mom and Vann were done with the whole climbing thing and my Dad joined them as well. So as they watched from below Sarah Hayden, Maggie, and I repelled from the top. It was so much fun and I am so glad we did it! That night we ate dinner at an Italian place. I believe it was called the Greanery. The view from where we were sitting was miraculous. We could see the Grand Tetons! We were all very tired once we got back so we all went straight to sleep! For the first day in the park, it was probably one of the best! I also apologize for this being so late!

Today's Your Lucky Day...
Well, I don't even know where to start with yesterday. We met our guide Mike, who looked like santa clause, after breakfast at the hotel. Our breakfast was pretty rough and our waiter was very creepy. Our morning was great we got to see lots of wildlife and many beautiful sites. We stopped and took pictures of Artist's Point. It was absolutely gorgeous. We saw bison, antelope, elk, and wolves! They say it's very rare to see wolves, especially with elk in its mouth! We saw a big group of elk and the saw the wolf that had just killed an elk! we stopped for lunch at a shady picnic table. Our guide was determined to find us a bear so we drove about 2 hours down the mountain to Hayden Valley and then to Lamar Valley. In Lamar Valley there was said to be a bear lying in a ditch but he never stuck his head up for us to get a good picture. As we got back in the car I noticed my window wouldn't roll up and then the car started acting up. We were 1/4 or 1/2 a mile away from the gas station so we thought we could make it....well we didn't. The car stopped working so wen got to walk to the gas station where we sat for about two hours. Then three park rangers came up and we thought they were going to drive of us up to our hotel but instead we just got a long lecture on wolves by Bill. But Ranger John lead us on by saying it was our lucky day....he was just talking about the wolves though. So we walked up to the Roosevelt Lodge where we got to wait for an hour and then eat dinner for an hour until our new ride came to pick us up. While we waited we played a couple card games so it wasn't that bad. And the food was way better than the night before at Old Faiful Inn. The two hour ride up the mountain wasn't too bad. Once we got back to the hotel we watched the geyeser erupt and then went straight to bed! This morning we had breakfast and then got out of Yellowstone! Before leaving the park Vann and Maggie got their junior ranger badges at a visitor center! We were so proud! We stopped at West Thimb to see some breath taking views before starting our next journey. Once we entered the Gramd Tetons everythingnjust seemed to get better! It was so pretty! Our hotel is fabulous! We are staying at Hotel Tera, we love it! We had a very late lunch at Cascadea and a wonderful dinner at an Italian restaurant. I'm going to bed now, we have to wake up super early for our family rock climbing adventure tomorrow morning!

We Want Yancey!
Sadly, yesterday was our last night/afternoon at Mountain Sky. But for being the last night at the ranch it was for sure one of the best. Yesterday afternoon we played Dr. Splash ball. Dr. Splash ball is like dodge ball with wet foam balls and you have a "doctor" that can bring you back to life. Vann, Maggie, and Sarah Hayden were all on one team while dad and I were on another team. Not to brag or anything but our team dominated. Before we actually played we did an obstacle course that involved a slip n slide and other fun obstacles. Even our dad did it which was pretty funny. After Dr. Splash ball was over we played on the slip N slide which was really fun. For our last teen night we went into Livingston to eat at Pop Stand. The food there was so good! We did a human scavenger hunt after dinner downtown. We had so much fun and it was hilarious! Today we had to leave Mountain Sky Ranch, it was very depressing. We drove to Yellowstone today and stopped to look at all the geysers- which were very cool. We got to the Old Faithful Inn this afternoon and realized how spoiled we were at Mountain Sky. It is very historic and neat but I miss Mountain Sky. We miss Yancey, Jonathon, Staci, RC, Pete, Dan, Michelle, John, Steve, Bri, and all of our other friends at Mountain Sky. We watched Old Faithful erupt this afternoon as we cooled off with drinks and snacks on the porch. We ate at the inn tonight, it was alright but we miss Jonathon and Matts food and service. Mountain Sky can we come back now? We miss y'all! On the bright side we have a guide tomorrow to show us all e wonderful things in Yellowstone NAtional Park. This vacation has been amazing....especially Mountain Sky!

Our Last Morning Ride :(
Today was the last full morning at Mountain Sky :( I want to stay here for the rest of the summer! This morning, I went on a horseback ride with my English family who adopted me. It was so much fun, we sang songs and played games while riding our horses! That was the last time I would get to ride Ditto until hopefully next year. She was very sweet and good today, a little pokey but thats not new. We have so many fun activities lined up for this afternoon! Im so excited! We are playing a game called Dr. Splashball and there will be a slip n slide! Since this is my first year I dont know how to play but I hear its so fun! The teens might be going into Boezman tonight for the fair or going to Chico Boiling Springs! Whatever we do it will be fun! Im very sad that this is our last day. This has been the best vacation ever!

Talent Show at Mountain Sky
Today at Mountain Sky was wonderful! This morning I went on a lunch ride with the Malones-Wilcox family (from London) and Rich! It was so fun! We had a blast! My dad hiked to the lunch site while Maggie rode with a wrangler and Sarah Hayden, Vann, and Mom rode the van. We enjoyed hamburgers and hot dogs along with apple crisp and ice cream for lunch! On the way back home to the ranch we noticed the rain clouds and all of sudden I saw huge rain drops. Well they weren't really rain drops...it was the beginning on a hail storm! I put my rain coat on quickly and we all got underneath a tree until it stopped. We felt like we had all wet our pants but Shannon our wrangler made it all fun! Tonight the teens worked on our talent show performance....that wont be ready till the night after talent show night. The talent show performances tonight were wonderful! Hopefully, the videos I plan to post tonight will work and you will also get to enjoy all the funny and cute acts we saw tonight!(Just kidding, its not working now so I will have to add them all when I get home! Sorry!) Im not ready to leave this place at all!

Save a Horse Ride a........
White water rafting was so fun! We rafted in the Yellowstone River! I would say it was better than the one in Glacier! We were on the raft with a family from England, and another family who used to live in England! We wore wet suits again but the water wasnt too cold this round. I rode the bull which means I sat on the front of the raft with my legs hanging over but i had a rope between my legs that was attached to the boat to stay in. I went first but then Maggie and Sarah Hayden followed. All of this scared Vann so much, he was worried about his sisters. I was the only one in our family to jump in and actually get in the water. The rest just got there legs in! It was so fun to just hang from the raft. Our guide actually let Sarah Hayden "guide" which was kind of scary. When we got back to the ranch we all got dressed in our fancy western attire for Dance Night! After dinner we went into the dance room, where Western Skies was playing! They are a local country band, they were very good! My favourite dance partner was probably this 10 year old French boy, he was so precious! After we danced he would take my hand and kiss it! It was so funny! All the little boys were asking all the teenagers to dance, it was very funny! Now Maggie...was the popular lady on the dance floor last night. She was dancing with every boy! Especially, the boy named Josh from England. We think they have crushes on each other. It was so fun dancing with everyone and just having a really great time! My mom and dad even two-stepped and danced a lot! I dont want to leave!
