Row, Row, Row Your Float

Since we had to get up so early the day before, our parents let us sleep in yesterday! When we woke up we got dressed and headed to the third floor where we had breakfast at Cafe Tera. I didn't have enough for breakfast so I was stuck with a huge headache that morning. Yesterday was sort of our lazy day. We walked around the little shops and all got really cool/cute t-shirts from different shops! After doing a little t-shirt shopping we went to ride the arieal tram. This tram took us to the "Top of the World" in about 10-12 minutes. It was so cool. The tram could fit about one hundred people during snow season but because no one was skiing they put in a few benches for people to sit on. The veiw was incredible. We could see paragliders going off the mountains. (Sarah Hayden wants to paraglide, but I think my mom might have a heart attack). When we got to the top it was about ten degrees colder than when we were at the bottom of the mountain. The mountain was incredibly steep! We walked around up top but it was a little too cold for us in shorts to be up there for too long. After we got back down from the mountain, we went to eat lunch at the Mangy Moose. That afternoon we left around 1:30 to go to on our dinner float. Once we got to the shop, we were put on a bus where Josh (the manager) drove us to a private ranch where we would get into the river with our floats. Our guides name was Andrew, he did all the paddling so all we had to do was relax and enjoy the veiw and ride! On the ride we saw an elk, geese, about 10 bald eagles, baby ducklings, and a MOOSE! The moose was just walking through the river! It was very cool. Once we got to the campsite, dinner was all set up for us and we were all very hungry. We had a very tasty brisket, beans, salad, and bread. For desert we had strawberry shortcake which was very good! On the way back in the bus, we saw a man who was on a bike down in the road. Our driver called the ambulance, the many got up after a while but he couldn't remember one single thing. Thankfully, the company who we were with had a suburban following our bus that could drive him and meet up with the ambulance to get him to the hospital faster. Once we got back to our cars we made a quick stop at McDonalds and got a little ice cream treat. When we were back at our hotel Sarah Hayden and I worked out then joined Vann and Maggie in the very heated pool. It was a very fun night! We are leaving now to go on a little hike! Ill post when we get back! Its our last day out west and we are all sad about it!
Love,
Douglas
