Our arrival was wonderfully, stepping out of the plane to sunny skies and 72degrees outside. We ate lunch at a cute little diner called the Buffalo Cafe. After lunch we walked around downtown and visited the shops. Let's just say if you want some tacky cowboy gear you have come to the right place. Soon after leaving downtown we got into our awesome rental car and headed a few miles down the road to our lodge. We are staying at the Whitefish Lodge- itis very nice and cozy! We quickly changed inyo our bathing suits and headed to the lake. The lake was freeeeezzzzinng- Maggie was the only one who got all the way under water. To warm up we went up to the pool and got in the hot tub. Now they say the pool is heated but I don't really believe it so I just stay in the huge hot tub. There is also a marina by our lodge, we went and explored there last night after dinner. We had a wonderfulbdinner last night at the lodge at a place called the Boat Lodge. We got to sit on the deck and eat with the beautiful mountain and lake behind us. The temp at night is so nice! Now the sun, that's another story. The sun doesn't set until 11 o'clock- thank goodness for dark and heavy curtains. We have not yet seen darkness here because the sun comes up at 5 am. We had the best breakfast this morning in the lodge- I am so full! Well we are going to Glacier National Park now so I'll post later! Sadly, I'll have to wait till we get a computer to post pictures! So excited about today!
